To enact legislative measures/policies that shall embody the collective goals, aspirations and needs of the people of Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur both for the present and the future that shall serve as the foundation for executive action of the Local Chief Executive.
An empowered and highly competent legislative body who passes resolutions and enacts ordinances and such other legislative measures that shall uplift the socio-economic conditions of the people of Kumalarang, strengthen and maintain peace and order and public safety, create a safe and inclusive society where people’s rights from different walks of life are protected and promoted regardless of the ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion and socio-economic status, preserve and protect the natural environment and enact legislative measures that are highly responsive to the needs of the constituents of this Municipality.
The goal of the Sangguniang Bayan is to become one of the most competent and most efficient legislative bodies not only in Zamboanga Peninsula, but the rest of the country by passing resolutions and enacting ordinances that shall propel the Municipality of Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur into the pinnacle of prosperity and holistic development.
